The Sussex Hog Roast Company, based near Chichester uses locally reared Sussex pigs, lambs and beef for traditional spit roasts, oven roasts and barbecues. We now cater for an ever-growing number of Chichester weddings and have extended our operation into East Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. Increasingly, people are realizing that the Spit Roast is a simple and cost-effective way of feeding large numbers, in a formal or informal setting whatever the occasion.

In its simplest form, the bap or baguette filled with generous slices of roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce is perfect fare to accompany the evening disco after a wedding. This can work out as little as £5-£6 per person. A beef or lamb roast is popular, though a little dearer. This is an ideal way of catering for birthdays, anniversaries and indeed any other celebration. On a corporate level, The Sussex Hog Roast Company is a great idea for open days, team building parties etc.

With a starter chosen from our large selection, salads, new potatoes and choice of delicious desserts the simple Spit Roast becomes a sumptuous three course meal. A Wedding Breakfast can be provided for less than £20! You also have the theatrical “wow-factor” of a smartly clad chef carving your freshly cooked meat directly onto your guests’ plates.

Here at The Sussex Hog Roast Company we take care of all arrangements for your wedding or other celebration. The meat is roasted in a professionally custom-built, stainless steel unit, where it can be oven -baked or spit roasted. The whole operation can take place in an open field under the smart Burgundy gazebo we supply, or can operate in a barn, a garage or even a conservatory. Needless to say all environmental health issues are meticulously observed.

We also operate BBQs and are pleased to provide additional facilities e.g. cutlery, crockery, glassware, serving staff, etc.
